Custom Commerical Signs That Get You Noticed

Greyhawk Signs is a Denver sign company that designs, builds, permits, and installs custom business signs. For more than 20 years, we’ve helped Colorado businesses get seen day and night.

Send your logo, dimensions, and site photos. We’ll handle the rest.

Your Sign Is Your Hardest-Working Salesperson

Every day, people drive past your business. If your sign is faded, hard to read, or missing, they keep going. As a result, they end up at a competitor they could actually see.

Meanwhile, the sign process itself can feel like a second job. You have to juggle permits, landlords, electricians, and installers. One missed step can stall your whole project.

A Denver Sign Company That Owns the Whole Project

We get it. You have a business to run, so you need a sign partner who takes the work off your plate. That’s why Greyhawk Signs handles your commercial signage from the first site visit to the final inspection.

Our team has designed, built, and installed signs for more than 20 years. We also build locally in Colorado, so we know what our sun, snow, and wind do to a sign. In fact, local businesses rate us 4.9 stars on Google. We’re also a proud member of the Colorado Sign Association.

Custom Commercial Signs Built to Last

Channel Letter Signs

Put your name on the building in bold, dimensional letters. We light them from inside, so your brand stays visible after dark.

Lighted Sign Cabinets

Also called box signs, these internally lit cabinets show your name and logo day and night. We mount them on your building or on a freestanding frame.

Indoor Signs and Dimensional Letters

Make a strong first impression the moment clients walk in. Dimensional and flat cutout (FCO) letters work well for lobby signs, office signs, and wayfinding.

Sign Service & Repair

A dark or broken sign tells customers you're closed. Our service crew fixes cracked, faded, and damaged signs, as well as lighting issues. That way, you stay visible 24/7.

Every Detail Is Yours to Choose

You choose the font, size, color, material, and lighting. We build it to your exact specifications.

Your New Business Sign in Four Simple Steps

1. Consultation and Site Survey

First, we talk through your goals and share a rough mockup. Then we visit your site to take measurements and photos.

2. Proposal and Design

Next, you get a full proposal with CAD drawings, specifications, and costs. So you see exactly how your sign will look before we build it.

3. Permitting and Scheduling

Once you approve the design, we confirm electrical needs with your electrician. We also gather everything required for permits, approvals, and inspections.

4. Fabricate, Install, and Inspect

Finally, we build your sign, schedule the installation, and coordinate electrical work. We also help with final inspections when needed.

What Colorado Businesses Say About Us

Don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what our customers say.

Greyhawk Signs did a fantastic job with our Realty ONE Group Elevations sign on our new Parker office!   We had very specific font, size and color requirements and they nailed it.  They were professional, on time and the sign perfectly reflects our expectation of quality marketing!

Realty ONE Group Elevations, Parker, CO

Amy and Robert are extremely responsive and delivered a quality product in a timely fashion. The pictures of what our building looked like were almost identical to how they actually finished when on the building. Very happy. Thank you so much, recommendations and repeat business will come your way every opportunity.

Genuine Auto Repair, Littleton, CO.

Recently took over a run-down liquor store and wanted to make a statement to the community that the store was a new and modern space. Everyone, from management, to graphic design, to installation, and logistics took the initiative to make sure the product was exactly what we needed and at a reasonable price… I strongly encourage you to start your search here for a commercial sign here. Chances are you’ll finish your search here too.

National Accounts

One Point of Contact for Signs Nationwide

Managing signs for several locations gets complicated fast. Instead of hiring a new vendor in every city, work with one team. Greyhawk Signs designs, builds, delivers, and installs signs nationwide. As a result, every location gets the same quality and the same standards.

Common Questions About Business Signs

Do you handle the entire sign project, or just build the sign?

We handle all of it. Greyhawk Signs surveys your site, designs the sign, handles permits, fabricates it in Colorado, and installs it. You work with one team from the first site visit to the final inspection, so nothing gets lost between vendors.

Do I need a permit for a business sign in Denver?

In most cases, yes. Most permanent exterior signs, and any sign that needs electrical work, need approval from the city or county where your business is located. Rules on size, placement, and lighting differ between Denver, Lakewood, Littleton, and other Front Range cities, and many landlords require their own approval too. Greyhawk Signs prepares and submits the permit applications for you.

How long does it take to get a new sign?

Channel letter signs typically take 5 to 7 days to produce once you approve the design. Total time depends mostly on permitting, which varies by city. Most projects take 6 to 8 weeks from first contract signing to installation, and your proposal includes a timeline for your project.

How much does a custom business sign cost?

Price depends on the sign type, size, lighting, materials, and how the sign mounts to your building. A lighted channel letter sign, for example, costs more than a flat non-lit panel.

What should I send to get a quote?

Send your logo, the approximate wall or space size, and a few photos of where the sign will go. A vector logo file (.ai, .eps, .svg, or PDF) works best. Include your business address so we can check local sign rules. You can upload files on our Request a Quote page or call (303) 946-0124.

Do you repair and service existing signs?

Yes. Greyhawk Signs repairs lighted and non-lighted business signs, including burned-out lighting, electrical problems, and damaged sign faces. We also service signs built by other companies. Call (303) 946-0124 to schedule a service visit.

What areas do you serve?

We’re based at 2055 S. Pecos Street in Denver and work with businesses across the Denver metro area, including Lakewood, Littleton, and Parker, and throughout Colorado. For brands with multiple locations, our National Accounts team manages sign programs nationwide.
